(from the menu “Advanced > Accessibility > Full check”)

To validate the test, a window stating « The checker found no problems in this document. » shall appear.

It is necessary to verify manually the other conditions linked to the access of the PDF document as this verification is automated and therefore imperfect.

Test n°2

(from the menu “View > Navigation Panels > Content” )

This view allows to validate the good structure of the document, that is, the content of the pages and how it is organised.

Test n°3

(replacement texts) if needed for the images (information carrying) and the texts (abbreviation, hyphenated texts etc..)

To see the following windows, one must in the “Tag” panel, right click on the chosen tag, then select “properties”. If the bar, “alternate Text” is empty, this means that the content of the tag do not possess alternative text.

The “ghost texts” are texts that are not visible to the eye, but will cause problems when the text will be read by speech synthesis. This texts allows also to verify is all the alternatives are present.
